Skye's first love was lure coursing and with only local trials attended, she managed to place #8 in the country in 1994. She enjoyed lure coursing through her 11th year. Skye had one litter that produced excellent dual champions and top lure coursers.
Skye was the winner of the American Saluki Association Taruna Cup in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and is up for consideration for 2007. The ASA Taruna Cup is a Perpetual Trophy and is presented to the dam whose progeny have the greatest total number of points in ASFA lure coursing.
Skye lived to the rip old age of 16.
