Windrush Salukis produced its first litter in 1999 with Rush x Skye. That litter excelled in the show ring and the coursing field and continues to excel on the coursing field today.
The second Windrush Saluki litter was whelped in 2002 with Rush x Tika. Tika held the record for dogs defeated in ASFA for a number of years and was passed by our Nebbi who currently holds the record today. The get from the Rush x Tika breeding held the #1 spot in ASFA for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
The third Windrush Saluki litter was whelped in 2004. All four dogs finished in the show ring with three of the four becoming Dual Champions.
The fourth Windrush litter was whelped in 2009. A litter of twelve. Mercury finished his show championship at 11 months of age and two others finished before they were two years old with one getting group placements. The Duodecuple litter are making history on the coursing field. First time an owner has won the ASFA I.I. twice with littermates. Venus won in 2010 and Mercury won in 2011.
